The Thelma C. Davidson Adair Medical & Dental Center in central Harlem hosted a celebratory breakfast on March 10, 2005 to recognize and honor Harlem community members and its funders that have helped establish the Columbia University center during its construction and startup phases. The Thelma C. Davidson Adair Center, a freestanding primary care facility in central Harlem, is a leading example of a university and community joining together to realize a mutual dream; an easy to access, state-of-the-art medical and dental facility for the Harlem community with special emphasis on families and seniors. The Center for Community Health Partnerships at Columbia University Medical Center manages and maintains the Adair Medical and Dental Center.
