For weekend courses there are several chain hotels in Fort Lee, New Jersey offering a discounted rate for those attending courses at Columbia University Medical Center. During the work week, however, please allow time for commuter traffic coming to Manhattan over the bridge.

CUMC Campus Housing - rooms may occasionally be available for visiting faculty and those attending classes. Rates are more competitive and do not include tax. Note: To avoid frustration upon arrival on your first day, be sure to obtain specific instructions in advance on how to access the building to get your room key. It is adviseable to provide an estimated arrival time to the Housing Office, especially if you expect to arrive later in the evening.
