Continuing Education

All CDM alumni receive a 10% discount on tuition for dental continuing education courses, and young alumni graduating within the past five years receive a 20% discount. View the CE Course Schedule to see current offerings.

Columbia University College of Dental Medicine is an ADA CERP recognized provider 11/2009-12/2013. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors; nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Please contact your local licensing authority for CE credit hour guidelines and regulations.


Lifetime Email Forwarding

Columbia offers lifetime e-mail forwarding through your UNI@columbia.edu and also offers a web based e-mail option through YOURNAME@caa.columbia.edu. Student e-mail addresses remain active for three months after graduation, but thereafter alumni must sign up for lifetime forwarding. Please visit http://alumni.columbia.edu for detailed instructions on setting up your forwarding.

Columbia Alumni Center

The Columbia Alumni Center on West 113th Street offers Columbia's growing alumni community access to University resources and a healthy dose of hospitality. Alumni visiting Columbia's Morningside Heights campus can stop by the Center to catch up on the latest University news, check e-mail, explore alumni benefits, peruse a yearbook, or just have a cup of coffee. The Center has been designed specifically for alumni use and includes a lounge, library, seminar room, and courtesy office. It's an ideal place to meet with fellow Columbians, or to enjoy a quiet moment while visiting campus.


Columbia Alumni Arts League (CAAL)

The Arts Initiative at Columbia University aims to make the arts part of every Columbia student's educational experience and to promote a life-long involvement in the arts. New graduates receive a complimentary year membership in the Columbia Alumni Arts League (CAAL) for special benefits and discounts at New York's finest cultural institutions. Other alumni can join with a tax-deductible contribution of only $25 or more to the Arts Initiative at Columbia University. www.cuarts.com


Columbia University Libraries

Alumni may apply for a University Alumni Identification Card that grants renewable reading privileges at Butler Library and the Health Sciences Library. To borrow books, alumni may obtain borrowing privileges for a monthly fee. To obtain your University Alumni Library Card, you must visit the Library Information Office in person in room 201 in the Butler Library. Recreational & Fitness Facilities

Membership is available to alumni at the Dodge Physical Fitness Center and the Bard Athletic Club.


Faculty House

The Faculty House offers dining, catering, and conference facilities. Weekdays during the academic year, the DeWitt Clinton Dining Room, Garden Café, and West 117th Lounge are open for lunch and dinner. The event rooms are available for University events and private affairs every day, year-round. All members of the University community are welcome to dine at Faculty House. Columbia University Sports & Youth Camps for Ages 6-18

Registration is now under way for the Columbia Cubs Camp during Spring Break and the upcoming summer, as well as for 11 summer sports camps led by Columbia head and assistant coaches. Spring Break Cubs Camp takes place from March 16- 20 at Columbia’s Dodge Fitness Center. The camp features sports, games, and arts and crafts for children ages 6 through
