Continuing Education

All College of Dental Medicine alumni receive a 10% discount on tuition for dental continuing education courses, and young alumni graduating within the past five years receive a 20% discount. View the CE Course Schedule to see current offerings. 

Lifetime Email

Alumni Email is available to all Columbia degree holders three months after graduation. Columbia offers a web-based email option through YOURNAME@caa.columbia.edu and lifetime e-mail forwarding through your UNI@columbia.edu.

Diplomas & Transcripts

Alumni may replace diplomas for a fee or request a transcript through the Columbia University Medical Center Registration and Student Financial Services.

Degree Verification

Columbia University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to act as our agent to perform degree verifications.

Columbia Alumni Community

Columbia Alumni Center

The Columbia Alumni Center on West 113th Street offers Columbia's growing alumni community access to University resources and a healthy dose of hospitality. Alumni visiting Columbia's Morningside Heights campus can stop by the Center to catch up on the latest University news, check e-mail, explore alumni benefits, peruse a yearbook, or just have a cup of coffee. The Center includes a lounge, library, seminar room, and courtesy office.

CAA Arts Access

CAA Arts Access connects artists, scholars, producers, and audiences through dynamic programs and resources.

Columbia University Libraries

Alumni may apply for a University Alumni Identification Card that grants renewable reading privileges at Butler Library and the Health Sciences Library. To borrow books, alumni may obtain borrowing privileges for a monthly fee. To obtain your University Alumni Library Card, you must visit the Library Information Office in person in room 201 in the Butler Library. Alumni must present a valid government-issued photo ID card in order to obtain an alumni card. For more information, please contact 212-854-7309 or lio@columbia.edu.

Dodge Physical Fitness Center

Membership is available to alumni and their families. The Dodge Physical Fitness Center is located at the northwest corner of the Columbia University Morningside Heights Campus in Manhattan.

NewYork Presbyterian Hospital Fitness Center

Membership is available to alumni for a monthly fee of $60. The NYPH Fitness Center is located on the second floor of 627 West 165th Street. For membership inquiries contact 212-305-1800 or NYPres@plusone.com

Faculty House

The Faculty House offers dining, catering, and conference facilities. Weekdays during the academic year, the Dining Room is open for lunch from 12 to 2 PM. Event rooms are available for University events and private affairs every day, year-round.

Columbia University Club of New York

From grand celebrations to intimate gatherings, Columbians can participate in a variety of special events to meet new folks or create fun memories at the Columbia University Club of New York.

The Columbia University Club of New York is now affiliated with The Penn Club of New York and is no longer housed in the Princeton Club. The Penn Club of New York is located at 30 West 44th Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues.

Columbia University Sports & Youth Camps

Children ages 6 - 12 can register for Columbia Cubs Camp during spring break and over the summer. In addition, various sports camps for ages 8 - 18 are led by Columbia head and assistant coaches and have weekly sessions throughout the spring and summer. Alumni visiting the New York City area have access to a variety of university-based lodging options, as well as off-campus accommodations.

Computer Discounts

The Columbia Alumni Association (CAA), in partnership with GovConnection, Inc. now offers Columbia alumni discounted computers (notebooks, desktops, and tablets) and peripherals.
