Fellowship Opportunities

  • DDS MPH Dual Degree Scholars Program: The College of Dental Medicine and Mailman School of Public Health co-sponsor a five-year dual degree DDS-MPH Program that prepares dentists-in-training to actively engage in oral health care policy, dental care management, oral health promotion and disease prevention, and community-based oral health programs. Since 2010, this federally-funded program provides tuition and expense support for dental students annually to earn both their DDS and MPH degree pertinent to dental education.   • Mailman School of Public Health Executive MPH Program for Pediatric Dentists: The College of Dental Medicine and Mailman School of Public Health co-sponsor a part-time Pediatric Dentistry Fellowship that provides full support for the Executive MPH Program at Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health and associated mentored fellowship experiences. The Pediatric Dentistry Fellow will be provided with specified funds for tuition, fees, and books associated with the required completion of the Executive MPH program at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.   • Postdoctoral Primary Care Educator Fellowship for Practicing Dentists: The College of Dental Medicine sponsors a five year training grant that seeks to provide mentored education for general or pediatric dentists who may be considering full or part-time academic careers. The Primary Care Educator Fellow will be provided with specified funds for tuition, fees, and books associated with the required completion of the desired Master's program.
