Dean's Research Lecture Series

College of Dental Medicine (CDM) Forum

The College of Dental Medicine (CDM) has initiated a new program, the CDM Forum. The Forum will consist of a series of 'Grand Rounds' and 'Research Lectures' with a central objective to promote the dissemination of knowledge in dental and craniofacial research, disease prevention and patient care. During the Spring term research lectures presented at CDM's Annual Birnberg Research Program are included as part of the CDM Forums. The CDM Forums are sponsored by the Office of Research Administration and Dr. Steven Chussid, Chair, Section of Growth & Development and Event Organizer. One (1) CE credit will be available.

Grand Rounds

The focus will be on clinical topics of broad interest and case presentations to a school-wide audience, with the intent of stimulating interdisciplinary care. The emphasis may vary from event to event between a 'disease entity' presentation and a clinical treatment presentation.

Research Lectures

Basic and translational science that is of broad interest to the College of Dental Medicine (CDM) and Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) community.

Birnberg Research Lectures
