How do I find out about future CDM CE courses?

Please add yourself to the CE database to receive information on upcoming courses by mail and/or email. You can also login to the database to access your complete CE transcripts and registration history dating back to July 1, 2009.

How do I register for a course?

Where are CDM CE courses located?

Most CE courses are held at Columbia University Medical Center except where indicated. Specific location and directions will be provided in a confirmation email upon receipt of course registration. Directions to course sites

Is parking available?

Several parking garages are located near the CUMC campus. View the list  Parking information for off-site courses will be provided with registration confirmation. Discounted or complimentary parking is available for select courses only.

Do you recommend any hotels?

Columbia University has a variety of hotels that offer our participants special discounted rates. Refer to the lodging section for some options or contact the CE office for additional details. 

May I register on the day of the course as a walk-in?

We discourage on-site registration. In order to prepare properly for our courses, we need to order food, supplies and prepare all registration materials and vouchers in advance. Please register early. 

What do I receive once I complete the course?

Each participant will receive a certificate that states the CE course title, instructor, date, and number of credit hours.

Columbia University College of Dental Medicine is a Dental Board of California registered provider #3954 and an ADA CERP recognized provider 11/2013-12/2017. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors; nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Please contact your local licensing authority for CE credit hour guidelines and regulations. 

When I register for a course online, will I receive a receipt?

Yes, you will receive an immediate email confirmation with directions, as well as an email credit card receipt. Confirmation letters may be faxed or mailed upon request. 

I lost my certificate. How can I get a replacement?

Complete CE transcripts and certificates may be accessed through the CE Database. To request a certificate prior to July 1, 2009, please contact the Continuing Education office.
