PART I: Didactic and Hands-On Model-Based Training
This is a solid foundation course for those who have placed 0-60 implants taught by Board-certified specialists. For those already conducting implant procedures this course still has lots of benefits to fill in your knowledge gaps and hone your skills.
Course Topics (subject to minor revision)
An overview and model-based training on various implant systems will also be provided.
Option I (six weekend sessions, 12 days): Nov. 15-16, 2014; Jan. 10-11, Feb. 7-8, March 14-15, April 18-19 and May 2-3, 2015.
Option 2 (two weeklong sessions, 12 days): Nov. 11-16, 2014 and Feb. 3-8, 2015
Includes optional attendance 5th Annual Columbia University/ICOI Dental Implant Symposium with Dr. Dennis Tarnow, Scientific Chairman, on Friday and Saturday, December 12-13, 2014.
PART II: LIVE SURGERY (optional) a) Clinical Observations; b) Implant Placement
Upon successful completion of Part I of the Continuum, participants will have the option of performing up to two surgical implant placements on a patient. These sessions will be instructed by a CDM faculty member in a one-to-one clinical setting. Prior to performing the implant placement, all Part II participants must first observe two implant procedures in the CDM clinic. Participants may also opt for live surgery observation only ($250 total). Additional course fees will apply. Click here for further information.
This course meets the continuing education requirements for the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI)’s Fellowship Credential and contributes to the maintenance requirements for ICOI Fellowship, IPS Mastership and ICOI Diplomate Credentials.
LOCATION Courses are held at Columbia University Medical Center on West 168th Street unless otherwise listed. Room details will be sent to confirmed registrants. Parking is available in a nearby parking garages for a discounted fee.
COURSE STRUCTURE & REQUIREMENTS Courses are lecture and hands-on, model-based format and are open to general and specialty practitioners.

TUITION & FEES A deposit is required to secure enrollment. Tuition should be paid in full prior to start of course. For Continuum courses, full payment is appreciated prior to course start. Payment in full or a minimum $2,000 deposit is required at time of registration to secure your space in the class. Special arrangements: with prior written agreement from CDM CE, 50% of the balance due is to be paid by Tuesday, October 14, with the remaining balance due to be paid by Tuesday, December 2 at the latest. CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS Refunds may be granted only if notification is received in writing at least two (2) weeks prior to the start of the course. Cancellations will result in a $500 processing fee. Any cancellation made one week or less prior to the course does not qualify for a refund. However, participants may choose to place their tuition minus an administration and direct cost fee assessment into a holding account for future use. Refunds for “no shows” will be forfeited. We cannot assume responsibility for losses due to participant travel arrangements.
