Columbia University College of Dental Medicine (CDM) offers a variety of dental services to the public through Columbia Dental, Columbia Dental, The Dental Center at Columbia University, our Faculty Practices, and our Community DentCare Network.
Whether you choose to become a patient at the CU Teaching Clinic or at one of our Faculty Practice locations, you are guaranteed to receive quality care and state-of-the-art services from highly trained medical and dental professionals. The Teaching Clinic provides comprehensive, specialty, and emergency care delivered by students and faculty of Columbia University at reduced costs to patients. The Faculty Practices have locations throughout Manhattan and provide comprehensive, specialty, and emergency care delivered by teaching faculty at CDM all of whom are licensed dental practitioners.
Community DentCare, the school's off-site network, provides care in central and east Harlem and Washington Heights/Inwood neighborhoods in northern Manhattan. Dental services are provided in seven off-site public schools, community health and senior centers, and in a van jointly operated by the school and the Children's Aid Society.
Columbia employees and their families qualify for the Columbia Dental Plan. Under the plan, a network of faculty and alumni of CDM provide comprehensive dental care at reduced costs to patients.
