Specialized Patient Care Centers
Columbia Universitys College of Dental Medicine (CDM) has established a number of centers of excellence that focus on addressing very specific oral health care issuesbut at minimal financial cost to patients.
Individuals who require complex, often prolonged dental treatments and services (such as dental implant surgery, therapy for chronic head, facial or jaw pain, or clinical plastic surgery) often do not have the kind of insurance coverage or economic means to finance their care
CDM is committed to making these state-of-the-art services available to people for whom such treatments might otherwise be out of reachfulfilling a core mission to democratize access to first-rate oral health care in the New York City area.
