The Section of Adult Dentistry is composed of the Division of Operative Dentistry and the Division of Prosthodontics. The Section, through the Divisions, has responsibility for the preclinical and clinical programs in restorative dentistry, the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (A.E.G.D.) program and the Postdoctoral Program in Prosthodontics.
The goal of the Section of Adult Dentistry is to assist the College of Dental Medicine in realizing the success of its mission to provide a stimulating environment for the education of competent general dentists and specialists as well as the development of future leaders of the profession in education, research and organized dentistry. We are also committed to providing for high quality, patient centered, comprehensive care delivery systems for the community we serve.
