NDA 95th Annual Convention
Please come out and support the 9th Annual NDA Day on Capitol Hill Day, Co-Hosted by NDA President, Dr. Nathan L. Fletcher, Senator Benjamin Cardin (D-MD) and Congressman Albert R. Wynn (D-4th MD). NDA on Capitol Hill Day is scheduled for Thursday, May 8, 2008 in the US Capitol Building in Room HC-5 (on the House of Representatives side). The address is Independence & New Jersey Avenue SE, Washington, DC 20515. The Legislative Program is from 12:00 Noon - 3:00 pm. The theme for this year is, "Leading the Way to Access and Optimum Oral Health".
The purpose of this event is to establish a dialogue between NDA members and their Congressional Representatives to discuss oral healthcare issues. This will provide an educational opportunity for the exchange of ideas and advocacy of dental medicine priorities.

So just a reminder there will be a General Body SNDA meeting this
Tuesday (April 1st) at 5 pm in A-7. We will be speaking about all
the important April events coming up this month such as The
Impressions Program, Oral Cancer Walk, Elementary Outreach on April
9th, Special Olympics, Crest Health Smiles and Eldersmile.
Impressions Program is this Saturday, we have 100 undergraduate
students signed up.
Hope everyone can make it as it will be a busy month,
we need your help!

Greetings from Columbia University SNDA!
It is time to register for the Spring Impressions Program! It will be held Saturday, April 5th in the Hammer building on campus from 9am to 2pm. This year, we will have a small workshop about financial aid opportunities for dental school. You will also find out how you can get your entire dental education paid for! We will have a panel of dental students and a member of the admissions committee to answer all of your questions. The day will end in the lab where you will get a chance to make impressions of model teeth and possibly use a hand drill.

We would be delighted to have you join us for our Spring Impressions Program as it is the most exciting event of the year! A flyer for the event is attached as well as the registration form. Please register early as we will grant participation on a first come first serve basis. On the registration form is a place for meal preference. Please specify if you are in need of a vegeterian, vegan, or kosher meal.

Presentation of SNDA's Upcoming Spring 2008 Events from the 1/10/08 SNDA general meeting.
We will be having a SNDA meeting tomorrow at 5:30 in A-7. We will
be talking about upcoming events such as Health Careers Day, Free
Dental Clinic, Oral Cancer Walk, Give Kids a Smile, Eldersmile,
Potluck, Impressions II, Special Olympics as well as other events
coming up.
