Part-time Faculty - Endodontics
Chia-Yi Chen is an assistant clinical professor at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Chen earned a DDS at the China Medical University School of Dentistry in Taiwan in 1998, a certificate in general practice dentistry from Shin Kong Wu Ho-Su Memorial Hospital in Taiwan in 200, a DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2006 and a certificate in endodontics from CDM in 2002. Dr. Chen a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, and a member of the American Association of Endodontics, the American Dental Association, the American Dental Educator Association, and the NYS Dental Association. Dr. Chen is board certified in endodontics and, in addition to teaching duties, has been in private practice since 2006.
Jack Levi earned a DDS from New York University College of Dentistry in 1966, a certificate in general practice dentistry from Bronx-Lebanon Medical Center in NY, and a certificate in endodontics from CDM in 1974. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a member of a wide range of professional associations, including the American Association of Endodontics, the New Jersey State Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the American Association of Dental Research, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Levi is board certified in endodontics and, in addition to teaching duties, has been in private practice since 1974.
Sookyung Kim earned a DDS and certificates in Advanced Education General Dentistry and endodontics from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and has been an instructor at CDM since 2003. Dr. Kim has also been in private practice in New York since 2007.
Jonathan Kim earned his DDS from the University of the Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2014. He completed a general practice residency at St Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx and additional training in endodontics from Montefiore Hospital and Boston University. He is board certified in endodontics and has been in private practice since 2016.
Gayatri Vohra earned a DDS from University of California, San Francisco and a certificate in endodontics from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Vohra is a fellow of the American Academy of Dental Sciences. In addition to teaching at CDM, Dr. Vohra has been an instructor at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine and University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
