Joseph M McManus Jr, DMD
Overview
Dr. Joseph McManus received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and a certificate in pediatric dentistry from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He also received a certificate in pediatric dentistry from the Division of Advanced Dental Education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. In addtion to his clinical training he has earned a Master of Science degree in Management from New York University, a Master of Health Administration from Western Connecticut State University, a Master of Business Administration from Sacred Heart University, and a Master of Science degree in Higher Education from Drexel University.
Dr. McManus has practiced pediatric dentistry for over 25 years. At Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, he has held positions of Associate Professor, Associate Dean, Executive Director of the faculty practices, and Executive Director of Community DentCare. He also served as the Senior Vice-President of the Division of Dental Practice/Professional Affairs at the American Dental Association in Chicago, IL. He now serves as an Associate Professor of Dental Medicine, the Senior Associate Dean of Admissions, and the course director of practice management at the College of Dental Medicine.
